About the certificate of a large family

Please note the changes in the legislation of the Russian Federation regarding the certificate of large families.

Starting from October 1, 2024, a unified certificate template confirming the status of a large family in the Russian Federation comes into effect. In all regions of the country, citizens are provided with the ability to confirm their large family status as required by presenting a two-dimensional barcode (QR code).

Through the user's personal account on the Unified Portal of State and Municipal Services (EPGU), citizens are provided with information confirming the status of a large family in the Russian Federation in accordance with the legislation of the Russian Federation subject (electronic certificate of a large family). To obtain an electronic certificate of a large family, a citizen (after the Russian Federation subject establishes the status of a large family) needs to go to the "Documents" section in the user's personal account on the EPGU, subsection "Family and Children".

The electronic certificate of a large family can be used along with the paper version to confirm the status of a large family where required. Legal acts of the Russian Federation subject may stipulate that certificates confirming the status of a large family issued earlier before the entry into force of the Russian Federation Government Order No. 1725-r, with a valid term, may be recognized as valid until their replacement with certificates of a unified format confirming the status of a large family in the Russian Federation.
