As carry-on baggage, you can carry baggage with dimensions no more than 120 cm in the sum of three dimensions (length×width×height: 55×40×25 cm) and a weight not exceeding - 10 kg for passengers of economy class and 15 kg for passengers of business class.*
You can take with you into the aircraft cabin free of charge as carry-on baggage in excess of the norm:
a backpack weighing no more than 5 kg and with dimensions in the sum of three dimensions no more than 75 cm;
a handbag or briefcase;
a paper folder;
a cane;
a bouquet of flowers;
outerwear;
printed publications for reading in flight;
baby food for the child during flight;
suit in a garment bag;
baby cradle, including a soft baby cradle placed in a convertible baby stroller, when transporting a child (carriage cradle, which is a rigid box of the upper part of a collapsible baby stroller, is not permitted to be transported in the aircraft cabin);
crutches, stretcher or wheelchair when transporting a passenger with reduced mobility;
goods purchased in duty-free shops at the airport, packed in a sealed (sealed) plastic bag, the weight of which must not exceed 3 kg and the dimensions of which in the sum of three dimensions must not exceed 75 cm.
As one piece of hand luggage baggage in accordance with the weight restrictions established for the classes of service, one of the following items may be carried:
one musical instrument with the sum of three dimensions not exceeding 120 cm;
two tennis rackets, packed in a case;
a badminton set consisting of two simple rackets and three shuttlecocks, packed in one case.
If the specified items are carried as hand luggage, the carriage of other hand luggage (except for items carried in excess of the established norm without charging an additional fee) is not permitted.
Any items or substances from this list are prohibited from being carried in hand luggage.
Upon check-in and/or at the boarding gate, the passenger is required to present hand luggage for weighing at the Carrier's request.
* on code-share flights (flights with numbers 6R-4xxx), where ALROSA Airlines is the marketing carrier, and the actual carrier is UTair Airlines, baggage with dimensions of no more than 90 cm in the sum of three dimensions (length × width × height: 40 × 30 × 20 cm) and a weight not exceeding - 5 kg for economy class passengers may be transported as carry-on baggage.
This additional service allows passengers to carry hand luggage with a slight excess weight.
Conditions: hand luggage is included in the free baggage allowance, weight does not exceed 13 kg, dimensions – no more than 120 cm in the sum of three dimensions (length×width×height: 55×40×25 cm).
The cost of the service is determined by the current tariffs.
The service does not apply to additional hand luggage and does not apply to flights operated on An-24 and An-38 aircraft.
The maximum parameters of the baggage included in the tariff , depending on your tariff, may be as follows:
No baggage (for passengers traveling "light");
1 piece weighing 23 kg;
1 piece weighing 32 kg;
2 pieces of 32 kg each.
The maximum size of 1 (one) piece of baggage must not exceed the sum of three dimensions (length×width×height) 203 cm. If your baggage exceeds the free baggage allowance for your tariff, you will need to use a special service and pay for additional (excess) baggage. The maximum permissible weight of one piece of baggage on ALROSA flights is 50 kg. Baggage over 50 kg is not subject to carriage in the aircraft's baggage compartment.
The weight of baggage included in the tariff is:
BUSINESS STANDARD – free of charge permitted 2 (two) pieces of checked baggage weighing up to 32 kg each piece.
BUSINESS LIGHT – 1 (one) piece of checked baggage weighing up to 32 kg is allowed free of charge.
ECONOMY STANDARD – 1 (one) piece of checked baggage weighing up to 23 kg.
ECONOMY LIGHT — does not include the free baggage allowance.
The free baggage allowance does not apply to:
passenger belongings, regardless of their name and purpose, the dimensions of which in packed form exceed 203 cm by the sum of three dimensions (such baggage is considered oversized);
passenger's belongings, regardless of their name and purpose, the weight of one piece exceeding the baggage allowance established by tariff;
courier correspondence and parcels, accompanied by department specialists;
animals (birds), with the exception of guide dogs accompanying blind passengers and service dogs accompanied by a passenger who is an employee of the canine service of the federal executive authority. Guide dogs and service dogs are transported as part of the free transportation rate.
Transportation of such baggage is paid for according to its actual weight, regardless of the number of other items of the passenger transported as baggage.
Each piece of baggage weighing more than 32 kg is considered heavy and is subject to additional charges. In case your checked baggage exceeds both size and weight limits, both fees will be charged simultaneously. Baggage weighing more than 50 kg is not accepted for transportation.
If the sum of the three dimensions of a piece of baggage exceeds 203 cm, an additional fee for oversized baggage will be charged to the passenger.
The fee for declaring baggage value is 0.5%, and for declaring cargo value is 1% of the declared value amount.
You can carry a set of sports equipment on ALROSA flights for free in addition to one piece of baggage.
Such a set includes:
one case with one pair of skis and one pair of ski poles, as well as one piece of baggage with equipment (1 pair of boots, 1 helmet, 1 goggles) — with a total weight not exceeding 23 kg;
one case with one snowboard, as well as one piece of baggage with equipment (1 pair of boots, 1 helmet, 1 goggles) — with a total weight not exceeding 23 kg;
a case with two hockey sticks, as well as one bag with equipment — with a total weight not exceeding 23 kg.
a bicycle without batteries (folded or disassembled, packed in a case, cover, box, or polyethylene film) — 1 piece with a weight not exceeding 23 kg,
For an additional fee, you can transport:
other sports equipment (surfboards, fishing gear, scuba gear, paddles, poles, other sports inventory) — subject to technical feasibility and agreement with the carrier.
Additional equipment (ski poles, boots, skates, helmet, etc.) transported without skis/snowboards/hockey equipment is not covered by the free baggage allowance beyond the established norm.
Sports equipment must be properly packed. You can use the baggage packing service at the airport.
Please note that different rules for transporting sports equipment may apply on flights operated by our partners.
Particularly valuable or fragile items (equipment, musical instruments, etc.) can be transported in the aircraft cabin on a separate passenger seat next to you.
Carrying baggage on an adjacent seat is only possible with prior agreement with the airline.. You must notify the airline of such baggage when booking or purchasing your ticket and pay for a separate seat.
The cost of the in-cabin baggage on a neighboring seat is the full fare of your ticket or the ticket of the passenger accompanying the baggage.
Baggage must be securely packed, have seat fastenings, and be of dimensions that allow it to fit on one passenger seat. There is a maximum baggage weight limit.

Bulky items, musical instruments, other fragile and valuable items that do not fall under the carry-on baggage category are included in the general baggage allowance.

Since the space for transporting non-standard baggage on each aircraft is limited, we ask you to coordinate the transportation of any non-standard baggage with us in advance.
Wheelchair
A wheelchair, if necessary for the passenger's mobility, is carried free of charge.
Prams and bassinets
A foldable baby carriage may be carried free of charge for an infant/child. If desired, the passenger may take the child in a folding baby stroller (weighing no more than 23 kg) to the aircraft steps**, where it is folded and stored in the baggage compartment. After the aircraft lands at the destination airport, the passenger picks up the stroller at the exit from the aircraft at the steps. If the baby stroller weighs more than 23 kg, it is checked in as baggage at the check-in counter free of charge.
** The passenger must notify the check-in counter staff in advance of his/her desire to take the child in a stroller to the aircraft steps.
Weapons
Firearms and other weapons may only be carried in checked baggage, in proper packaging and unloaded in accordance with Federal and Airline regulations.
Weapons may only be transported with a valid official permit from the authorities for the right to store and carry weapons, and only with prior agreement with the Carrier. Please notify the airline of your intention in advance. Write to us about this or contact the agency office where you purchased your ticket.
